No matter what industry you work in, estimating is an important part of the job. When it comes to the telecommunications industry, accurate estimates are critical for ensuring that projects stay on track and within budget. That’s where our new estimator Alex Richardson comes in.
We are excited to have Alex on board. He comes with years of experience in the industry and we know he will be a valuable asset to our team. Alex’s skills and expertise will help us provide accurate estimates to our clients and help us grow our business. I develop and implement a more unified way of capturing project estimates and costs that align with our organization’s plan of growth.
I served as an estimator for one of the largest broadband companies in the country, covering projects all over the United States.
There is a couple of rewarding factors in my opinion, the first is being able to meet new people and develop new relationships, second is being able to watch the business and people grow beyond what they could have imagined possible.
My hobbies include – Hunting, fishing, camping, coaching my son’s football team, and just spending time with loved ones, mostly around a BBQ!
My ultimate goal is to unify all three branches of BDC into one all-inclusive pre-construction department, that ultimately supports all aspects of the operations team. I would have to say another big goal of mine is to be able to create a well-organized pre-construction team that is eager to learn, grow and train new people and create avenues that open doors for other people to grow.
First and foremost my wife and kids are the foundation of what gets me through any rough situation whether that’s work or just everyday life. I think after that is having a clear precise milestone/end goal.
